This is a nice premium-feeling cable set. I bought it because the listing said it was specifically for iPhone. Well, Monster describes the item as “for iPod and Mac” on the package, and the vendor has pasted over that with a home-made label that says “for iPod and iPhone.” The mini plug end of the cable is too wide to fully plug into the recessed area around the iPhone jack. iPhones have a curved profile around the headphone jack area. The unit plugs in and functions fine, but just doesn’t look perfect. Still, it works, so I am keeping it, it just does not fit as flush as I was hoping. The cable was pretty seriously crimped in one spot where it was folded into the package, but I guess it’s OK. It sounds great and feels very sturdy, and is long enough that it reaches to the middle captain’s chairs in my van. it comes with a little storage bag. It would be perfect if it was perfectly sculpted to fit my iPhone, and if it came with some sort of cable management piece to keep the cable organized at different lengths.
